If you make a small change to a program, it can result in an enormous change in what the program does. If nature worked that way, the universe would crash all the time. - Jaron Lanier

    Your news or blog feed can easily be published on Newsphiles.org by following these simple guidelines. Share your extraordinary writings with the alternative news circuits. People need to know what’s going on…

    How to Post feeds on Newsphiles.orgStep 1: Login to your account’s “Write Post” panel. (you can use the ‘login’ link in the upper right corner). Remember that you have to register before posting.

    Step 2: If you have an image fitting your feed please use it. The dimensions may vary, just don’t make your image higher than the intro text (about 100px width  will do fine. Can be .jpg, .gif or .png). Click the “html” tab (upper right corner) and insert the image before the text with these tags :

    <a href=”http://your site.com“><img src=”http://somewhere.com/image.jpg” width=”100″ height=”100″ border=”1″ align=”right” alt=”your site name” title=”your service slogan, description or name“></a>

    Notice: The Word press writing panel’s top menu also have easy to use image tools

    Step 3: Write a presentation for your feed consisting of about 60 up to about 100 words. This can be done in either HTML or Visual mode. The Visual mode will, however, let you format the text easier with the convenient tools menu (above the writing panel)

    Step 4: Change to “HTML” mode and insert your rss or xml feed url after your text wrapped into the following code:

    <!–rss:rss_feed_url:=http://your-site.com/feed-url,num_items:=15,random:=false–>

    Remember to leave no spaces in the code snippet. The “items” number can be changed as it decides how many posts the feed will display.

    Step 5: Hit the “Save and continue editing” button and then use the “Preview” function (top, right hand menu) to check the outcome. Does the post look like you envisioned? If not you can continue editing the post. Remember that you must Save it before you can see the changes in preview mode.

    Step 6: Happy with the result? Then hit the “Publish” button.

    That’s it for now. If you did right the posts from your feed link will display fine. If it doesn’t work please double check that the surrounding code looks exactly as pictured above. If you didn’t find a fitting category you are welcome to suggest a new one. And, hey, if you have any questions or suggestions please Contact Us with your inquiry.
