Your news or blog feed can easily be published on Newsphiles.org by following these simple guidelines. Share your extraordinary writings with the alternative news circuits. People need to know what’s going on…

Step 1: Login to your account’s “Write Post” panel. (you can use the ‘login’ link in the upper right corner). Remember that you have to register before posting.

Step 2: If you have an image fitting your feed please use it. The dimensions may vary, just don’t make your image higher than the intro text (about 100px width will do fine. Can be .jpg, .gif or .png). Click the “html” tab (upper right corner) and insert the image before the text with these tags :

<a href=”http://your site.com“><img src=”http://somewhere.com/image.jpg” width=”100″ height=”100″ border=”1″ align=”right” alt=”your site name” title=”your service slogan, description or name“></a>

Notice: The Word press writing panel’s top menu also have easy to use image tools

Step 3: Write a presentation for your feed consisting of about 60 up to about 100 words. This can be done in either HTML or Visual mode. The Visual mode will, however, let you format the text easier with the convenient tools menu (above the writing panel)

Step 4: Change to “HTML” mode and insert your rss or xml feed url after your text wrapped into the following code:

<!–rss:rss_feed_url:=http://your-site.com/feed-url,num_items:=15,random:=false–>

Remember to leave no spaces in the code snippet. The “items” number can be changed as it decides how many posts the feed will display.

Step 5: Hit the “Save and continue editing” button and then use the “Preview” function (top, right hand menu) to check the outcome. Does the post look like you envisioned? If not you can continue editing the post. Remember that you must Save it before you can see the changes in preview mode.

Step 6: Happy with the result? Then hit the “Publish” button.

That’s it for now. If you did right the posts from your feed link will display fine. If it doesn’t work please double check that the surrounding code looks exactly as pictured above. If you didn’t find a fitting category you are welcome to suggest a new one. And, hey, if you have any questions or suggestions please Contact Us with your inquiry.

Sofware reviews? Music reviews? Gadget reviews? Scientific articles? Crazy articles? Mysterious or esoteric subjects? Off the beaten track? Do you have a good discussion going on your blog? Want to share it? Need more feedback?

Then you will understand the importance of rss networking your article feeds, not only to the general feed networks but also directly to the fringe, where you will target dedicated readers. By posting your main feed here your post will be pinged to at least the “regular” 30 – 50 feed-syndicates AND categorised in our growing directory which remains available for search engines worldwide for an x-amount of time span into the future.

If you don’t think this sounds altogether crazy then you just might be ready to spend a few minutes submitting your feed to newsphiles.org.

|how to submit feed to newsphiles.org|

I know we don’t offer it all automatic like some of the other sites are. But, on the other hand, we’re offering you the advantage of getting (and mentaining) a proper post for your feed on our site, not ‘only’ an address or uri on a links list. On our site you still may stand out, so to speak, since we’re fairly fresh.

We want Articles and Reviews

Less main-stream subjects are considered better

If you don’t know exactly what to write about but still want to write it might be good to start with reviews. Loads of options there, like music, software, freeware, web sites, hardware, books, you mention it.

It’s quite simple to submit your articles or reviews to newsphiles.org. Start with registering, then reply to the email you’ll receive. After that you can go ahead writing.

If you copy and paste something out of a Microsoft Word document you might find some garbel left in the text. To ‘clean’ it up before just open the ‘.doc’ text document in something like Wordpad (free with Windows) and THEN copy and paste it into the Wordpress writing panel. We have a spell checker.

Use the “preview” function before you hit ‘publish’ (upper right corner of the textarea in the writing panel). We will look through your submission before allowing it on the page. But don’t worry, at this point we won’t be very craving. If what you write isn’t perceived as advertising for some business and actually contains a genuine angle towards the subject you choose to write about.

Guide lines:

You may use limited HTML.

You may use pictures if you have.

You shouldn’t exceed about 2000 words.

Relevant links allowed, as many as you like.

Only ONE personal link, usually placed at the bottom of the article

No foul or explicit language, hate, or other verbal abuse will be accepted

You may write about explicit subjects but watch the language used. Remember, you will/might get comments. And everything written on newsphiles.org is broadcasted via rss, big time

After one or two of your posts passed our moderation you can write without getting moderated

That’s all we come to think of right now. If you have suggestions or think the guidelines should be changed, well, then give us a comment.

So, welcome on board if that’s your wish.

I.E. if you’re a writer and about to promote your own book it’s okey to present/review it and put a link to where you sell the book, but if your reviewing somebody elses work it’s preferable with only informational links like ‘author’, ‘related’ or ‘background’ etc., not commercial ones. In this fashion the the actual story and author of the post (you) will get more attention. |register|

(Posts containing agressive or faul language, hate etc., will be deleted)
